Meet The Team

Owner / Lead DJ / Lead Videographer
Jeremy "JD" Dodson
Jeremy began DJing in 2019, gaining experience with weddings and events before creating JD Entertainment LLC in 2021. He combines professional sound, personalized music, and years of experience reading crowds to create celebrations that reflect each couple's style and keep the dance floor packed.
For Jeremy, great DJing is about more than simply playing music; it's about creating the right energy at the right moment. From the first introduction to the final song of the night, he focuses on smooth transitions, crowd engagement, and making every celebration a memorable experience.

DJ
Scott Cox
With years of experience behind the DJ booth, Scott Cox is known for his high-energy style and ability to read a crowd. Whether he’s providing the soundtrack for a wedding reception, a Studio 54-inspired event, or an ’80s throwback night, Scott stays in tune with the dance floor and knows how to keep the energy going.
Scott believes not every great listening song is a great dance song. Rather than simply playing music people can dance to, he focuses on the songs that make people want to dance. With purposeful song selections and years of experience, you can loosen the reins, enjoy your event, and trust Scott to keep the party moving.

Lead Photo Booth Attendant & Weekly Event Host
Allie Hardesty
Allie has been part of the JD Entertainment LLC team since starting as a Photo Booth Attendant, helping guests capture memories and bringing a friendly, welcoming presence to every event. Since then, she has expanded her role and can now be found hosting weekly Music Bingo, Trivia, and Family Feud, bringing that same energy and personality to the microphone.
Outside of JD Entertainment LLC, Allie is a proud mom of two and loves spending time with her dog, Luna. When she’s not working an event, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and photography; especially finding opportunities to capture the moments and memories around her.

Weekly Event Host
Maddie Gamertsfelder
Maddie brings a fun, energetic personality and a natural ability to connect with people to every event she hosts. Whether she’s leading a round of Music Bingo, putting teams to the test at Trivia, or keeping the competition going during Family Feud, Maddie focuses on creating an engaging atmosphere where everyone can get involved and have a great time.
A Louisville native, University of Missouri graduate, and elementary school teacher in Oldham County, Maddie knows how to command a room while keeping things welcoming and fun. Outside of hosting, she enjoys camping, kayaking, hiking, crafting, and thrifting.
